BA lounge @ LIS?

So I've google and got differing opinions... What's the current situation for lounge access at LIS?

Flying CE on Wednesday and wondered what to expect.

I was there last week. It is one of the most soul-less places I have ever been in; worse even than the Air France lounge. It is also miles from the gate.
Enjoy!

Last time I was at LIS (1 year ago) the Lisbon Lounge had better food choice than the Blue Lounge. You can get in if you have Priority Pass:

Airport: lisbon - International (LIS), Terminal 1
Lounge: LISBON LOUNGE

Location: Airside - after Security Checks and before Passport Control, next to the newsagents near to Duty Free and the 'McDonalds' fast food outlet.

Opening Hours: 05:00 - 21:00 daily.

I would use Priority Pass etc. (of even pay) for the Lisbon Lounge rather than wait in the Blue Lounge. Last time I was there the combination of being in such a small space with the smell of old vinyl sofas and dirty carpets meant I didn't even stay 5 minutes. The Lisbon Lounge was so much better.

I typically love lounges of any quality, but the lounge used by BA at LIS is really, really bad. As I noted elsewhere, it is the only lounge I have ever walked out of.

You would be much better turning right and going to the new section of the terminal from where BA departs - ie, past passport control. That building has natural light and a rather nice bar/coffee area called, ironically, 'the first class lounge' (or something like that).

The BA lounge is just a prefabricated box built into the terminal - dirty, smelly air-conditioner, with little natural light or food. Even glasses for the water are dirty. No English language publications and the walk is to the BA gates is advertised as 25 minutes.

Jeez that doesn't sound good! Has it got wifi?

I shouldn't necessarily choose a destination for its lounge but maybe I should in future?

Ah, I forgot the wifi.

Yes it has wifi - so a +1 for the lounge. You get the password at the reception.

Wifi and power, which are more important than air and light -- although the later is important too.
