Jubilee Business Class Sale
http://www.britishairways.com/travel...penxtype=click
Got an email about this this morning. Looks like quite a good deal, AA are also doing similar although the dates seem to be different (looking at their Facebook advert "Celebrate Queen Elizabeth II’s Diamond Jubilee with a roundtrip Business Class trip to London! Fly for only $1952 to honor the Queen’s 60-year reign. Purchase by May 18, travel May 26, 2012 through April 11, 2013 on American Airlines, British Airways or Iberia Airlines. Taxes included".).

Good stuff!
Grab a ticket and come to http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/briti...ne-2012-a.html
It's right next to the action so you can walk there the next day

An interesting break and luxury TP run would be to take an F reward flight over on the 31st to JFK, spend a night in the Big Apple and then take the CW promotion flights for the converted Ł 1.2k from JFK to LHR on the 2nd...spend a day here and then go back on the 4th arriving around mid day...finally come back in CW reward seat on the 4th on the last flight to arrive back on the 5th and have some time to figure out where you are before going back to work on Wednesday!
Cost...still lower than a 'normal' CW return and get the benefit of an F and CCR day flight over to position...a day in the city then a decent CW return with some time in London to compare the two cities and then come back again in CW where you would likely just sleep anyway...
Of course, someone could get some TP flights in there while over in the US...
Ah, well, never mind...

Hmm I'm highly tempted to take advantage of this by nesting it in another itinerary.
I'm going to be in the states at the end of June and then have to be back in London over the Jubilee celebrations for work before heading back out to the states.
TPs wouldn't be bad either. If only they offered this on flights with domestic AA connections then I'd be booking right now. Should be cheap enough to book any Avios AA domestics needed though.

check your class of service
when i hit the link the ad talks about business class fares at $1952, but when you hit the booking link the fares that appear are for economy. you have to change the class of service to get business class fares. i think $1197 is an economy fare
