Chase BA Visa signature card question

Am I understanding correctly that one can get a companion ticket free just for purchasing a full fare CW ticket? Does that imply it needs to be a full fare full flex ticket or will a full fare restricted ticket qualify?

Thanks .....

Thanks ... I thought it seemed too good to be true.

I'm not complaining though ... 100k miles is pretty sweet.

Yes, many of the other chase offer the free companion ticket. Not sure why BA limits the dates you can us it - the Continental card gives you an unlimited number, lol. Don't forget about the companion ticket you get if you spend more than 30K on the card. That is much more valuable.

Thanks for the link. I doubt I will charge $30,000 but I will use the miles!

Well, you need to spend $2.5K to get the 100K miles. All you need to do is spend is another $27.5K, lol.
