A thread inquiring about the lack of underwear, coupled with the comment about making it "sticky" seems a bit inappropriate.

I am taking my 72 year old mother on her first F January 1st. Ever since I have told her that 'we wear PJs in F' she is worried about trotting through the plane in them. I will suggest that going commando is also expected, to add to the anxiety.

I am of the cowardice persuasion and wear my boxers under the PJs.

Going commando? Eurgh!

Mrs J-Class and I wear BA F PJs in the cold winter nights (well, I wear a plain white T-shirt with a BA bottom half - or sometimes CX for a change). Always WITH UNDERWEAR, for God's sake: in my case, either Sunspel or the truly lovely Emmanuele Maffeis boxers from Bergdorf Goodman. I don't own any conventional pyjamas.

By wearing PJs at home, I seem to have trained myself to associate them with sleep and feel immediately more relaxed when I wear them on an aircraft. BUT I only wear them in F - I don't bother with them in J.

Never having been anywhere further forward that J I wouldn't know what I would do, but I would probably go for on. Always best to keep the merchandise in the store.

Really? Sometimes it's nice to take the merchandise for a spin. Not to mention it is a cheap form of advertisement.
