Will you get married for a free flight?

Get married in Bermuda this year and you'll get your BA flights for free. Bad news, it's economy only (but looks like you'll probably keep miles/tps).

Total outlay seems to be around £800, including free flights, marriage ceremony/license and four nights in a hotel. Full details here: http://www.gotobermuda.co.uk/freeweddingairfare.aspx

So who's going to be the first FTers to take advantage of this? Can we do some match-making?

A somewhat different approach: When I worked for CO, the employee store at the Houston airport did a brisk business selling t-shirts emblazoned with the words "MARRY ME, FLY FREE".

Funny thing - although I was sure to wear my shirt, none of the supermodels that I targeted ever took me up on the offer

As someone who lives in Bermuda it doesn't surprise me.........the tourist industry is on the verge of disaster here. And out side of school holidays the BA flight can sometimes just be 1/4 full.........

Which is such a shame as it is a beautiful place. But SO expensive!

I went to a wedding here last August and it was WAY too hot, even at 6pm - we all stuck to our chairs..........if you take them up, come before July and after September to reduce the sweat factor!

Fully flexibly Y cabin ticket to BDA in August: GBP 1,384.90
I class C cabin ticket to BDA in August: GBP 2,929.90 (expensive for I)

Net cost of C cabin ticket: GBP 1,545.00, which is a good fare for CW.

The article does have a heading: "UK travel professionals".

However the article says "the promotion is open to all UK and Ireland residents aged 18 years or over".

So is this offer restricted to UK travel professionals or all UK and Ireland residents?

Yes that saving wouldn't buy you more than a few hours of someone's time, let alone half the house

Well if it was the right person then sounds a good deal .... in fact for a certain someone I would not even be bothered about the free flight

This could be a fairly economical solution for those of us who need some TPs to renew silver for another year
