British Airways Reward Availability?
Many of you are aware of All-Nippon-Air's Reward seat search engine that allows you to search for reward seats in different categories among almost all Star Alliance carriers.
In addition, I use www.expertflyer to search for seats on other airlines, but so far, they do not list British Air.
Is there anywhere on the internet that such searching is possible so that I can play around with potential itineraries and get a sense of what's available?

Hi,
Reward seats on BA are not listed on expertflyer IIRC.
As OW does not have a reward search engine like ANA, the only way to find BA reward flights, as far as I know, is to have a BAEC account and log in and do a search via this site;

Actually, You can use Qantas.com as their award search tool covers all of OW as well, which is where KVS gets it's data from for it's OW search, and it's free.

From the British Airways Ultimate Guide.
Say my name!
The airline is called ‘British Airways’ which is often abbreviated to ‘BA’ (the same as the flight prefix). One thing people here tend to get a little touchy about is referring to our favourite carrier incorrectly! So, ‘British Airways’/’BA’ ‘British Air’/’Brit Air’/’British’ or other variations thereof

Many thanks.
Go here and click on "Make award booking" then log into your BAEC account.

Great - the Qantas tool worked like a charm.
Next question - when there is availability for First in one direction and only Business in the other, does British Airways allow you to combine the reward or are you stuck paying for First even if you fly home in Business?

Again - thanks.
You can combine no problem, wither book to one ways online or phone up and do it as a return in different cabins. You only get charged for the cabins flown so you aren't stiffed.

BA allows one-way award redemptions. This means you can fly one direction in First and the other in Club. AA and VS also offer one-way awards. This means you can mix programs. For example, at Thanksgiving we will fly MIA-LHR on AA in first class using AAdvantage miles, and return on BA in Club using Executive Club miles .
