New Route PER - SIN - DIL

I have a requirement to fly from Perth, Aus to Dili, East Timor.
This is a difficult ( ie expensive ) route at the best of times, but
SQ have just opened a new route SIN to Dili.

Its a bit of overkill as this is effectively Australia to SIN, then bommerang back to East Timor ( some two hours flying south of Bali ).

Is it possible to use BMI points to construct such a ticket, and would I be penalised for 'overshooting'?

No, it's not SQ. It's not even Silkair in reality, who you can't redeem on anyway.

It's a Silkair aircraft, chartered by Austasia Airlines, thats' all.

A simpler routing would be via DRW (Air North flies between DRW and DIL).

Oddly though the flight uses the Silkair code (MI). I'm booked on MI 295 (DIL-SIN) next month.

Dili

Thanks to all for your advice. Sadly looks like this one won't work out.
