Shopping miles
I bought something from John Lewis on 21st October for £300 and am waiting for 1500 points but there is nothing on my account showing - pending, waiting, etc.!!

For anyone thinking of spending a few quid at L'Occitane for Christmas, they sent me an email with a 20% off code for any purchases over £25; but only for tomorrow, the 13th.

I was beginning to think but was just me waiting!
I had PM'd Joanna and she said to email the details in. I did that and replied to her PM to ask her to let me know if she'd received the email (she'd said it would go to her). She didn't reply to that PM about a month ago so last week I sent a letter to DC.
It's not a massive amount of miles but I object to them just ignoring the problems with this offer. It's certainly ensured I wouldn't buy again via the BMi shopping link, which I don't think was what they were intending.

My letter to DC got some results, albeit not the right miles! Two transactions posted giving miles of 31 and 6 respectively, ignoring that there should have been 500 miles for each as these were during the promotional period (so long ago now). For 31 and 6 I wouldn't have bothered.
Joanna emailled me to say it had been sorted and I've emailled her back to say it hasn't been sorted correctly but as she doesn't ever seem to receive my emails it may have to be another letter.
Keep thinking I won't bother pursuing this but when I get a quiet spell I find myself pursuing it for the principle.

Ditto. I've PM'd twice (allowing a month in between), and resorted to e-mail yesterday (a month after the last PM). It's not a huge number (only a couple of thousand miles in my case), but it would be useful to have them posted.
That said, I've just made a couple of Hertz car rental reservations - an easy 1,700 miles a shot - and far less hassle!

For those in the Euro zone: I was just comtemplating the fact that Sterling has tanked in recent times - 20K miles (plus 10% currently) costs £240 (plus a £15 handling fee ).
22K - £255/€300 - which is €0.0136 per mile.
That's mileage run territory... albeit for destination miles only.

Er, that was then and this is now...
22k - £255/€265 - which is now a stunning €0.012 Euro cents per mile... however, the 10% bonus miles can only be earned before New Year! So hurry, hurry, hurry... while Sterling is continuing to slide, it may take some time to drop another 10% to make up the difference on this special offer.

Hi all
Firstly, apologies - I've only read part of the way into this thread, so the answer might be somewhere already. If it is, please slap me with a wet haddock, and tell me to go back and read it!
The question is around when my purchases should show up on "My Acccount" on the shopping portal. I booked a Hilton stay through it around a month ago. I'm completely expecting the points to take up to 12 weeks to post, but "My Account" on the portal shows the click through, but not the purchase.
Is that correct (ie it goes through verification before posting), or should the purchase show up there straight away?
