18/07/2008 PO Points.com transaction - Accrual 23 0

3. On my shopping page I have these transactions, which means that only one of the transactions from Shopping is for the same number of points as posted to the account:

01/07/2008 Waterstones £9.99 7 miles/£1 Pending 66
20/06/2008 Waterstones £4.89 7 miles/£1 Pending 33
08/06/2008 eBay £16.06 1 mile/£1 Approved 13
30/05/2008 eBay £10.71 1 mile/£1 Approved 8
26/05/2008 Tesco £14.11 2 miles/£1 Approved 23

So it looks as if 23=23, but 8=16 and 13=26 - so must be double points on eBay!

It's been discussed earlier in this thread but most ebay transactions were tracking at half the points value (or less) of the actual purchase price. (Possibly due to conversion to USD?) I wasn't too worried about the Raffles specials but I did have an ebay purchase of just over £200 that tracked at 86 points. So it looks like when points are finally credited to your account they are credited at the correct purchase amount ie/ 1:1

Edit: I've just checked my DC account and all my transactions have now been credited to my account! The raffles specials I got 4 points each for, and the large purchase I got 169 points so still not quite 1:1 of the orginal purchase price but basically double what the shopping database was showing. No bonus miles yet though.

14 transactions, including a Tesco Wine which I queried as it did not post, have all been credited to my account. The bonus has not arrived yet, but I am sure it will soon. After my concerns that this promotion would end with complaints to DC, I am very happy. Thank you, especially to Raffles, for highlighting this offer.

Yep, myself & my good lady have also had all our transactions approved & miles posted to our accounts, but no sign of the 5000 bonus miles. The wait continues...

Another wodge of transactions cleared today for me .

Oh well... at least points.com has done their part at least. Although they have borrowed BMI's IT development team it seems...

The doubling - I think thats down to ebay pulling a fast one on the transactions earlier on. But at a grand total of 2 extra miles - hardly worth loosing sleep over.

Now the bonus miles - thats anohter subject completely....

So, anyone tried to ask BMI what happens now? It's been well over the 40 days after the end of the promotion, and no sign of the bonus miles yet...

Second round of shopping bonuses have now appeared for me, and everything seems correct - one account received a full bonus for all the transactions, and the other received the balance of miles missed from the last round of bonuses.

Ditto. Remaing mileage (2000) was credited to my account.

As the promo said... 40 days + BMI IT Time.

Still, the magic 5k has now been awarded to my account.

Good spot raikje

I mailed BMI to chase up my bonuses on the 18th July.

I';ve received a reply just now to say that my bonus miles will be posted tonight.

Fingers crossed.

Has everyone got what they expected, or is there another sweep to come?

I'm ok. RAPC-in-law is correctly credited, but Mrs RAPC is shy of 2,000 miles. I don't want to badger Joanna needlessly if there is another round of miles to catch any outstanding transactions.

RAPC

Joanna said mine are due to post tonight so I'd leave it a couple of days as it seems they may be processed in batches.
