I am pretty sure that we all appreciate very much how bmi igonores us!
Nonsense! Have you even tried to get your problem solved or are you just barracking for the sake of it?
Joanna sent me a message yesterday regarding an issue with shopping points and that it should be sorted soon. This is in addition to her initial response saying that she would look into it - which was sent the afternoon I raised the query!
Thanks for you help on this Joanna, ignore people like the OP

harryhv, if they're all pending, this is a good sign that they've tracked successfully. It take 30 days to 12 weeks to convert "pending" into "approved" (I was clocking 35-40 days for Waterstons and the first lot of eBay transactions).

Well it was a good cause, anyway
Same here - I think we have to wait patiently and see what happens!
UPDATE: I have just logged into MyEbay, and noted my 10 transactions there as "pending" - I think because ebay is "waiting" for us to update our *own* records to state that *we* have made the payments!

True. However, it would be good if Joanna could give some guidance as to what will happen. There is no logic to the miles awarded so far - ie I got 500 despite having no transactions moved to 'approved'. I have no doubt that I will get the miles eventually as my transactions have tracked.
Be clear, though - if your transactions have not tracked through the shopping portal, you won't be getting anything unless you put in a claim (and claims are not accepted for ebay items) which is successfully accepted.
Not a single one of my (more than 10) purchases ever showed in my 'purchase report', not even as 'pending'.
This had me worrying.
However, when booking a flight on-line yesterday a quick check of my diamond club account revealed that ALL my various transactions were listed there (including the miles accrued) with the list being topped by an entry reading 'diamond club - 5,000 Miles Credit'
Well done bmi!

Well done for getting the miles, but that confuses the situation even more

I don't think even this is clear-cut. There's nothing on bmi's shopping T&Cs which excludes non-tracked ebay transactions. As purchases were made on bmi's site and subjet to these T&Cs, then surely if there's a failure somewhere in bmi's sub-sites (points.com or ebay) then isn't it bmi's responsibility to sort it out ?

As there is no proof that you made the transaction through the BMI portal, due to lack of tracking, I'm not sure what you could realistically expect them to do.

Joanna has been quite good in replying to my queries and I've already had points adjusted on some items including a John Lewis purchase. So far I've received points one of my Waterstones purchases and 4 of the Ebay ones which were made on 14/5. These include the earlier £1 purchases from Raffles. The remaining purchases are still showing pending but it's probably just a matter of a bit of patience as kevincm says.
Joanna can't probably do too much but forward and raise queries as the link to points.com. Waiting to see if I get my 5000 points bonus too.

How do you contact Joanna? I have sent several emails to diamond.club at flybmi.com and never have heard a response, over 1 month now.

not sure why it's variable,
sent to the email address you mentioned
diamond.club at flybmi.com with header: online shopping tracking.
Cut and pasted my customer account tracking and validation sections. Try again I guess...

Reason: Removal of live email address
I can't answer all your questions but hopefully this will help.
Miles posting - when you purchase something through the shopping site the miles should show as pending and then approved. The miles should then be posted to your account around the 10-15th of the following month. Any orders that have not been tracked correctly will need to be chased via email. To do this we require the tracking number, date, amount and retailer.
If you are trying to earn miles via 2 money/miles back sites this will not be allowed.
Bonus miles - Any orders done in May should now have received the bonus miles. Orders for June should receive the bonus miles between 10th-15th July.
I don't doubt diamond club's explanation of how it should work. However, I have purchases that were made and delivered in May that are still in the 'pending' stage, and no bonus miles for those nor one that is marked as 'approved' (although the standard miles for that posted on 20/06/2008).
Now some of this may well be down to the retailers.

Thanks for the explanation diamond club. However, I have 6 transactions tracked from May (2 pending and 4 approved), but have received bonus so far of only 1,500 miles. I guess we'll see whether it gets corrected with the June posting in a couple of weeks.
