What is not good when you use paypal together with eBay?

No - because the guy isn't actually doing anything wrong, technically.

In any event, I'm pretty sure that no-one purchased my link who didn't come through FT so I don't think he'll be getting much business.

what I don't like here is the inpredictability of the results... Out of 5 attempts (ebay and iTunes) I have only one £2 transaction registered, £1.02 - 1mile /£ - 0 miles
I can't find a link to ask for missing credit anywhere, and even if there was, it will probably be registered after the promo ends, so no bonus anyway.
I will try once or twice more the charity auction.

I did 2 Tesco book orders which tracked fine within 48 hours. In the Tesco thread on the BA board you'll find codes for 500 clubcard points (1,200 BA Miles) and 250 points (625 BA Miles) on any Tesco book order.

This means that even a small order (say a £2 book plus £2.75 postage) will get you 1,200 BA Miles plus 500 BMI miles - assuming a) your Tesco account accepts the codes and b) it tracks through BMI. I got lucky on both.

I carefully write down the transaction detail and which tracking ID or "click id" on BMI website it corresponds to. Hopefully, they will agree to the bonus with that information, even if after the promo period?

I know i should have done this too because only 2 of my 10 transactions are tracking so far and theyre both Waterstones. The others, Itunes, Currys, Dixons, Tesco have not showm up.

To quote the unbelievably annoying bloke (that doesn't really narrow it down very much does it) from The Apprentice: "That's wot I'm talkin' 'bout!!"

I need almost exactly 1200 BA miles to cross a redemption threshold. Yet more fine work Raffles.

Here is the new ebay listing:

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=230254738914

Go into this listing VIA THE BMI SHOPPING PORTAL and purchase 1 item. Do NOT use PayPal. Select 'cheque or postal order' as payment method - this means that no money will actually change hands.

Later, I will e-mail you the PayPal address for our NSPCC charity fund. This is not the same e-mail address as the one e-bay uses. For each link you purchase, you should send £1.50 by Paypal to this address. I expect payments to be made within 48 hours.
Sold out. Must be a very popular item...

OK, here's the new listing as the previous one sold out!

http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=230257047443

Go into this listing VIA THE BMI SHOPPING PORTAL and purchase 1 item. Do NOT use PayPal. Select 'cheque or postal order' as payment method - this means that no money will actually change hands.

Later, I will e-mail you the PayPal address for our NSPCC charity fund. This is not the same e-mail address for me as e-bay has, so don't send money to that one. For each link you purchase, you should send £1.50 by Paypal to this address. I expect payments to be made within 48 hours.

It is vitally important that you make the £1.50 payment. Each ebay sale costs roughly 75p in transaction and Paypal fees - your £1.50 covers these costs and leaves 75p behind which will go off to the NSPCC after 15th June when the promo ends.

Net of ALL fees (ebay and Paypal) the charity pot is currently around £130 which will gross up to around £170 with Gift Aid.

Raffles - should you not delete part of your above post? I think it's just a bit too much information on a public forum. Just refer buyers your email that you send buyers. If they don't follow your instructions which are clear then it is their loss!
P.S I will delete this message also.

With Ebay purchases - has anyone had a transaction track where you bought on your own EBay account whilst logged in to a family member's DC account. I have made several purchases on my EBay account but only the ones on my own DC account are showing I have been buying for myself and 3 other family members.
I know that someone said that with itunes the account had to be in your name - do you think it is the same with EBay? Should I open separate accounts for everyone?

After a relatively good start (only one (ebay) transaction missing out of 5), I haven't got anything posted in the past 10 days: 2 ebay, 2 itunes, 2 HMV.
