My 1x GBP2 Raffles item shows on my BA AmEx statement as GBP2.12 (tracked as USD4.02). Aside from the currency ripoff (2 does not mean 2), it ought to mean an eBay transaction with BD of over GBP1, hence qualifying (as well as 3 BA Miles for the payment).

I've had this same currency exchange rate issue with Paypal. There is an explanation on their site to the effect that there will be an adjustment (by Amex) to ensure that you are not overcharged (well, no more than usual).
This adjustment has always been made on my statements. Obviously on a charge of £2 their are only a few pennies involved but you should still see the adjustment.
Good old bmi with their rather confused T&Cs again. Just noticed that the shopping promo page accessed on the site at http://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-gb/rewa...-shopping.aspx says that we have until 1st June to make transactions.
The original link in this thread which we received via email says 15th June and is still accessible on the site. So, which one will it be then?
I've made various transactions over the last week with ebay, waterstones, tesco etc. - but not a single one has tracked yet - should I be worried. Sounds like other people have had their ebay transactions from 1 week ago track already.

Not sure about worried, but I suspect bmi may have an admin problem and a half coming their way with people wanting to have purchases confirmed for the bonus miles that haven't shown up.
I am currently seeing 2 out of 5 transactions showing up, with Asda coming through fine, but John Lewis (which usually tracks ok), CD Wow and Game all not coming up, with 2 of them being over 10 days old.

I remember reading a note about AMEX on paypal - they will charge you in US$ always. Which means first a conversion from £ to US$, and then back (plus the 2.75%, once or twice...). So I've resigned to never use AMEX for paypal payments.
I've bought miles using my debit card from BMI - the transaction has tracked on my debit card online banking, and the money has been taken out of my account - but I got no confirmation from Points.com/BMI and the miles haven't been deposited in my account. So my money is with BMI/Points.com and my points are nowhere to be seen.
