Hello,
Can I ask someone how to purchase more than one iTunes song in one transaction? I'm new to iTunes and just register, I choose a first song, then click on "buy song" and realized the transaction went ahead immediately (without even asking for a confirmation), so, presumably, I'll have now a £0.79 which will not count towards the DC offer...
Thanks!

You need to go into Edit... Preferences... Store... and change it from Buy using 1 Click to Buy using a shopping cart

That way you can add a few songs then go to your shopping cart to check out and pay.

So if it tracks as a purchase which has costs 1 GBP and which earned 0 miles this should still be a valid transaction, shouldn't it?
Yes, it should. However ... since a 51p purchase will result in zero miles being sent to your BMI account, how is BMI meant to know you've bought anything and give you any bonus? It is almost certainly BMI funding this bonus - I assume points.com has nothing to do with it and is certainly not funding it.

A couple of people have started buying 2 links from the ebay listing (ie insert Quantity 2 when you buy) for £2. This should track at £1 for reasons unknown. You may want to try this.

non-UK cc summary

I've been following this thread, but need to confirm the following:

So for someone w a non-UK cc, the jist of this 10page thread is that 10 Raffles purchases is the cheapest way to go? Or have I missed something?

5K=$20?

As I read it , it has to be 10 separate visits to Ebay via the links to count, I dont know if that means 10 Raffles purchases will do it,

It seems to clear to me what is happening. Ebay or points.com, whichever is to blame, is treating our £1 purchase as a $1 purchase. This is why it is tracking at roughly 50p.

New purchasers should therefore buy a quantity of 2 items from the current listing:
http://cgi.ebay.co.uk/ws/eBayISAPI.d...m=230253049619

If you made a £1 purchase, you will receive an e-mail from me this morning telling you what you should do to make sure that your item tracks. Please act on this e-mail as soon as possible.

As an update, the Paypal charity total is now £111!! This is after Paypal fees but does not include the ebay fees.

With the UK Gift Aid tax relief, the total going to the NSPCC is probably around £125 at the moment.

Actually that's not necessary. I never knew about this "Buy using a shopping cart" option. My previous purchase of 2 x GBP0.79 songs within minutes of each other (using "Buy using 1 click") was tracked as one GBP1.58 transaction earning 4 miles. I infer this to mean that iTunes sweeps per invoice, not per song downloaded. So be sure to buy 2 songs at one time, wait for the invoice to arrive normally in a few days which tracks as one transaction, then go buy 2 more songs again! Repeat as desired.

Got it, but aren't you going to incur a fee for this?
If so then I'd rather write off the first purchase as a learning experience ...

I'm not sure about the £1 on ebay = 0.51 'cos I made three purchases on Ebay on Wed

Raffles £1
ipod item £4
phone charger £ 6

all are tracking at 0.51 which does not make sense to me. also purchased a song on itunes and that hasn't even tracked yet.

Based on the posts Tesco seems to be tracking ok, will try Waterstones as well.
