No, you've done nothing wrong ... I don't think any recent ebay transactions have tracked. One I did on Wednesday (not for my listing) hasn't tracked yet although the original click is there.

Wednesday's Waterstones and Thursday's eBay has fail to track yet too. Seems like points.com is to its usual shenanigans.

Orignal clicks for both are there though. Joy

strange though, I had 3 transactions with different amounts from Raffles £1 to £7 for something else but it is listing all three purchase amounts as £0.51 each. Opinions anyone?

Isn't the rate for ebay based on the commision ebay earns. If the bid price is £1.00 then ebay only gets a smaller cut of this. The cut points.com then takes is even smaller!

I know that's not what it says on the website, but that's how it works for other cashback sites.

eBay: I checked my AmEx account, and 2x GBP transactions have been charged at GBP1.05 and GBP1.06. Good, I thought, though I was slightly mystified by the GBP0.06 (USD0.12) entries for eBay.

Then I checked my DC account and see that one of the transactions shows as GBP0.51, pending and 0 DC points so far. To which my reaction is .

No worries about NSPCC, how can GBP1.05 or GBP1.06 become GBP0.51?

Tesco: Two transactions, neither mentioned at DC, one delivered (a DVD from Jersey via the Direct website, not sure if that counts), the other not. We waited in for almost 3 hours on Thursday for a Direct delivery before calling Tesco. The message on the so-called 'service' number was effectively 'we're busy, go away'. Found a land line (01992 something) and finally spoke to a real live person who said he would ring the store and get somebody to call on the mobile. Still waiting, of course. To add insult to injury, checking the order on the website produces the information that there's a problem with the order and SOMEONE WILL CONTACT YOU. Huh! I'd thought the good days with Tesco were behibd us. It seems the bad days, too. Aldi is closer. [/rant]

I overlooked this thread for a little while and completely missed the clever charity fundraiser arranged by Raffles... nice work

Made a test purchase today, and will return this week if it clears ok. Should be no surprise to Mr. Raffles to see that my real name isn't a million miles away from my forum user name (clue: Ontheroad is not my surname)

The same thing is going on here - I bought an item off eBay for £4.20 (including P&P), which is now showing as pending at £1.53. You just can't make it up

Raffles, can I suggest that you change the cost of your EBay listing to £2. Those of whose purchases are showing as 51p have earned no miles.

order date retailer purchase
amount reward payment
status earned miles

14/05/2008 eBay £2.55 1 mile/£1 Pending 1
14/05/2008 eBay £1.53 1 mile/£1 Pending 0
14/05/2008 eBay 0.00 1 mile/£1 Pending 0

Hi, the above has been tracked on my account they relate to:
£4.99 + £1.49 pp
£2.99 + £1.95 pp
£1.00 - Raffles

It looks like every £1 earns 0.51p on ebay therefore I think Raffles would have to increase his item to £2 to track at £1.02 (although at the moment it has tracked but at 0.00)

At least there's enough weeks to get it all sorted
cheers.

I just re-read the offer on BMI's website at https://www.flybmi.com/bmi/en-gb/rew...-shopping.aspx. It actually only refers to purchases and transactions you have to make. Nowhere it mentions a minimum price or a minimum of 1 mile that needs to be spend/earned for each purchase. So if it tracks as a purchase which has costs 1 GBP and which earned 0 miles this should still be a valid transaction, shouldn't it?
