i've got the mbna bmi plus amex. my november statement shows a total spend of £1,788.11
the statment shows:
BMI DESTINATIONS MILES
AMEX MILES | 3,576.22
VISA MILES | .00
BONUS MILES | .00
ADJUSTED MILES | .00
TOTAL MILES | 3,577.10
on the 28/10 and 29/10 i spent a total of £1,839.65 on ba.com. the descriptions of each transaction reads "BA.COM xxxxxxxxxxxxxxx WEST DRAYTON"
xxxxxxxxx is the ticket number
there were also two credits (on the same statement) from ba - each of £296.90 - totalling £593.80.
therefore, with a net spend that month on ba.com of £1245.85 i guess i should be entitled to some more points ?
if i should be entitle to more points, would the additional points be based on the net spend of £1245.85 or the £1,839.6
would anyone be able to clarify, prior to my call to mbna ?
thanks

You are in the same position as me.
I spent £2.5k on ba.com on the 16th, and the miles on my December statement is exactly double the monthly spend on the card. I reckon that I am therefore 5k miles short.
Be persistent with them since they tried to fob me off with misinformation about contacting DC to get this resolved, and the fact that it's avios now etc

Thanks tiger_lily
With a bit more confidence about the facts, I have sent mbna a message through their "communication centre" whilst logged in to my account. I requested that it be forwarded to their marketing team.
The credit card is at home, so i wasnt able to phone them.
edit: they acknowledged receipt of my email on the 14th, and have said they will respond fully in around 5 days. I expect a response early next week

OK then, so as a point of reference I called to enquire about the BA double miles promo on the 11th, yesterday (15th) the missing 5.3k miles hit my DC account. One happy bunny.
