New route? GLA/EDI - HEL from 28 Oct

Is this the first new bmi regional route under the new ownership? Doing a search for GLA-HEL on flybmi.com gives the following:

Please note: Our service to Helsinki-Vantaa from Glasgow will commence from 28 October 2012.
Also the same for EDI. If you try a date after 28 October you get a different error as it looks like the fares haven't been loaded yet.

Am I alone in thinking that Regional may have inherited the dartboard with the map of the world on it that they used to use for route planning at Donnington?

Wasn't EDI-HEL already operated by Blue1 as a codeshare?

It depends - if bmiR does hitch its wagon to Flybe as rumored this might make some sense given Flybe's ventures with Finnair (Flybe Nordic etc)

I can't be the only one who thinks Joe Public must find this all a bit confusing; if they have half a clue that is? We have the bmi website with BA advertisements on the front page and a bar say a new route will commence on 28 October 2012 which will be neither carrier.....
