BD number during check-in *A flight
 
I am trying to check in with an award tkt LH tomorrows flight. When i insert my BD number the system wont accept it.

Anyone got the same problem? I hope this can be done at the airport for extra luggage allowance and lounge access.

I'll take a guess adding your FF number counts as a "change" that you probably can't do this close to the flight. Suggest you take care of it at checkin/luggage check when you get to the airport. Keep your ticket stub just in case.

Flight is an award... so no ticket stub required !

On Amadeus system, you cannot change your FFP on an award ticket as the system already knows that you can't get miles for your ticket. The FFP # is only there as reference and DC should have put that number in automatically when you book your own flights.

You have to call in to LH and get the number input manually then.

Whilst this seems to be true using the LH website, LOT does allow changes to the FF number - I've just changed my BD number to A3 for an upcoming award in June to ensure my status shows as *G.
