How much is this a misrepresentation?
With the December Offers email this afternoon, came a notice of Diamond Club Call Centre closures over Christmas and New Year.
It was the picture of the Call Centre that strained my belief:
I find it difficult to believe that is an accurate portrayal of Pune.

Get the Advertising Standards Authority on it - or is it like mobile phone/games ads on TV where it says "not actual game footage" and so they are covered. Pathetic and should be outlawed. If they feel that it will put people off because they showed Indian workers then they should not outsource there in the first place.

It looks more like the office area of your average airline lounge. Now there's a thought. BMI could take outsourcing one step further, and offer DC miles to informed BMI passengers (i.e. FlyerTalkers) to take calls while waiting for flights in Diamond Club lounges.

I don't think they'd need to choose informed passengers ... just give anyone instructions to pick up the phone and say 'Our computer systems are down right now, please call back later'.
