If you rely on the on board catering, you will end up one of:

a) Hungry and disappointed
b) Ill and disappointed
c) Just disappointed

e) Eat before the airport. T3 is very poor for food. Costa and Boots for butties, the Self Service is dire and will be closing when you want to eat.

They're going LHR to MAN so they'll be in Heathrow T1. More food choices there (or did you mean on arrival at Man?)

Doh - always seeing, never reading!

In that case, fill up at one of the many T1 eateries, or the *A lounge if you can get in.

For the morning flights, I like to scoff some of those lovely mini bacon rolls in the *A lounge. Since they killed the meal deal, I've avoided what they offer on board (and even when they did have the meal deal, I rarely asked for more than a cup of tea).

And if you don't have *A lounge access...... Well T1 isn't at all bad these days.
