Weather Delays/Cancellations at LHR

LBA this morning was complete chaos.
No information from our useless friends at Servisair.
Two hours wait and then cancelled. The EDI first and ten minute later the GLA. No information available
Virtually every other airline at both LBA and GLA were flying with the odd bit of delay.
I have to say, at least I got to just drive home and write the day off. The queue to see the one lady behind the Servisair counter was about fifty deep. I have no idea what they were going to do as no other planes go north and I guess the only connection was with KLM in Amsterdam.
Safety must clearly be the number one priority. But you just get the feeling these were cancelled for commercial reasons and to keep the rest of the day's schedule on track.
