Thanks for the nice find, Brendan. You might want to rephrase the title though. Kind of misleading.

The registration page says that AAA members get 10% bonus points. How do they know I'm a AAA member if I'm staying on a gov't rate? Is there a place to add that to my account?

Thanks.

Just call BW to tell them UR a AAA member & give them your member #. They will enroll U in the AAA version of BWR.

don't know if you are aware but you can buy their gift cards to pay for these stays and get up to 5k miles-with AA for example.

Except it's not a 16k promo at all, it's only a 16k voucher promo.

Pretty useless if you don't need a reward stay by this coming winter, as that's when this voucher will expire.

Also rather useless if you want 12k properties for one night each, as I know no way to split a voucher.

Yet another BW promo that's useless to me because they didn't do the simple thing (give you real bonus points).

Talk about bait and switch. They trumpet how BW points never expire, except then they structure all their promos so that you either anything but points (cards one promo, vouchers another) and the vouchers do expire in such a way that you cannot use vouchers earned late one summer to help you with a vacation in the following spring or early summer.

So yet another promo that drives me to the competition...

Sd, U can always use the 16K voucher for a 12K room night & forfeit 4K or trade it on tCC! Gee, I wonder if an 8K hotel could take it for 2 nights??

I registered for this promo, and today I received my first Global Free Night Voucher. My voucher was dated July 16 with an expiration date of January 27, 2010, the BW covering letter dated July 22, and the package it came it with the Jona cinch pack was postmarked September 24.

The rules are that the coupon is only good for 6 months from date of issue, but I actually only have 4 months to use the coupon as I only received it today. Seems a bit of a con to me to claim you have 6 months to use the coupon when it takes almost 10 weeks to get it to you.

I wondered if anybody else had this problem with these vouchers?

I got almost the same thing as OrlandoFlyer ! But I don't have much standing to complain because I stayed only once for 1 night, but the hotel mistakenly credited me twice !
