Stayed there are couple of years ago on a regular basis and was always impressed. Rooms are clean and smart

Breakfast a bit over priced but usually just headed to a local cafe

On a different topic the cocktail bar on the ground floor is great!

Agree. I have lived in Lille for a while and relatives and family would stay at the BW Bellevue when the Crowne Plaza was ridiculously expensive. Everybody seemed to be pretty happy with the rooms and the staff. The cocktail bar (Windsor) is pretty good indeed

You can pm me if you need any info on lille as I know a couple of nice restaurants and bars, i'll be happy to help!

Thanks. I assume you are speaking of the BW Bellevue?

There is also another property Best Western Hotel Arts Deco Romarin. Does anyone have a comment on this property? It seems to be a bit outside of town but near a tram with easy assess to city and it is less expensive than Bellevue.

Thanks

Never stayed at the Romarin, didn't even know it was a BW!!
From the outside, it looks like it is a great property, located on a boulevard that leads into town (so it may be a little noisy).
The tram stop is only a few minutes walk from the hotel and is 2 stops away from the train station (the terminus of the tram line).

Yes I only stayed at the BW Bellevue.

Not sure about the Romarin, never stayed there but the Bellevue is definitely one of the best in the centre of town athough I was fan if I could find the hermitage or couvent on for a good price.

Avoid the "de la paix" and the carlton. Not sure what they are like now but bug repplent used to be a must for staying there!
