Purchase BW Points

How easy/difficult is it to buy Best Western points?

Can one buy the points online or does one need to call customer service?

Indeed, you are right

On their website it says that also Gold members can purchase points.

To understand this right: Do I need to call customer service in order to purchase points? Can I not do it online?

Question

Again time for the Grand Slam. Wanted to purchase points but it says "contact customer service by email". Does any guy out there have experience with purchasing BW points?

How does one actually buy points? I see the FAQ still says you can, but I don't see a way to do it.

It cannot be done on-line. You must call customer service.
