A972200 seems to be best for 7 hour rental ($44). Other suggestions?
Any good stackable coupons?
I too have been looking for a JFK rental. The A972200 rate is the best I have been able to secure after trying around 50 codes. Mine is a weekend rental and it allowed me to stack MUWA157 which is $10 off on a 2 day rental. I will let you know the final results. Also limited to 250 miles, but I should be ok, only going around 150 miles.

I am planning a 2 week rental this December (16th to 30th) and was looking into a luxury rental from JAX. My Wizard profile is linked to the AWD A756900 (Amex Platinum AWD) and using this I got a reservation for
Base rate - 813.58 USD
Taxes & Surcharges - 198.98 USD
Total - 1012.56
But thanks to this forum I found the code D005297 and got the sweet deal:
Base Rate - 616.00 USD
Taxes & Surcharges - 161.67 USD
Total - 777.67 USD
Plus I have put in the coupon code MUAA133 for the Skymiles bonus.
Thanks guys!!
Just noticed one thing in the email confirmation:
The AWD code is mentioned as N/A! Not that this matters as long as the rate stays the same. Also the rate code is HG - does the rate code influence the class of vehicle (H vs XE)

Have you priced back-to-back rentals from Dec 16 through the 30th? The total cost will most likely be higher than just one rental but I have been surprised to find the opposite on occasion. That way you could earn multiple 5K SkyMiles bonuses

I wish I can do that but we are planning a cross-country drive from JAX to San Diego, Sacramento and then back to Jax through Denver, Kansas City and Memphis. So back-to-back is really not an option!
Try P400000. I used it in April/08, without any difficulties. The rate was CAD 95.99, total CAD 111,26, one way from R1R to SE2, unlimited kms., on a Sunday for an SUV. I found it far cheaper to rent segments separately: one rental for use in BC, another one-day rental for trans-border, and a third for use in WA (each with its own AWD).
I know of people who have used this code in AK and they were denied the discount. It is some sort of code for the travel industry/tour industry. Just so you know it might not work in all locations.

I need to hire next week in Belgium a car (or an Estate or something minimum as big a catogary N like volkswagen Touran ) what good codes are there, I heard that there is some very cheap code for class N (something like €26 per day if you take it for minimum 3 days

Rates are brutal this year, especially the holiday season. I was trying to rent from LAS to LAX from Xmas to after New Years - everyone is 600 and up.
I found my Avis receipt from last year - plugging in the very same AWD and almost the same dates is now running 400+, while last year they charged 235!
We ended up getting tickets to fly to LAX, rent there and drive to LAS rather than waste the extra 300.

I want to rent a car in Germany and I wondered, if anyone got into trouble lately for using the K444404 Netjets code? It cuts about 40% of the price and I really can't imagine that no one will ask me for any id. The problem is, that the price only lowers, if you check the box for "payment on return". So I would be forced to pay a much higher price in the end if they ask me for a proof which I don't have. Any experiences on this?
I'm taking a road trip with a friend out west in June. When I priced out a car rental picking up in Grand Junction, CO and dropping off in Las Vegas for a total of 7 days and a few hours, the initial price was over a thousand dollars. When I use the FL state employee code I found here, the price goes down to 340 or so with tax. I am worried that once I get there, they will ask for proof or ID (I am not a FL state employee) and then I will be charged the higher price. Anyone have any experience/thoughts?
