Specifically Austria? I have a reservation for the end of this month and am traveling with the wife and 6 month old.
I also found G298100 which offers equally good rates, only problem is my reservation is booked for this small Austrian airport and the model I have reserved is now sold out and rates have gone up considerably since I booked nearly 2 months go. So I am hesitant to call and switch the code if K444404 should not be used.
I have a back-up reservation, but again, much more expensive and not the model I requested.
My sob story is similar--I am traveling alone with 3 kids under 10. I have a reservation in NL using the Netjets code. How strong of a plan b do I need to have? Has anyone had any problems with the code or been asked for ID?

Farmers code = no FF credit
I found a code on this thread for Farmers Insurance (A972200) and used it once about a month ago in DEN. I usually use the Amateur Sports Assistance code (D005297). This time the Farmers code actually beat the ASA code by a few bucks. I also used the MUAA133 coupon code for 5K bonus DL SkyMiles.
I did not get the miles for the Farmers code and here was the reply from Avis when I inquired:
Dear Evan!,
Thank you for contacting us through the Avis Website. Please accept my
sincere apology for the delay in responding to your inquiry.
Our records indicated that your rentals were billed under the Zurich
Insurance corporate rate. Their contractual agreement details that when
this rate is applied, their employees are not eligible to receive
frequent traveler points.
ID required? Amateur Sports Assistance code (D005297)
Hi, I also just got a great rate (half the weekly rate as quoted under my standard corporate AWD) for a weekly rental at LAX on May 20 using this code.
Same question as the previous poster, is an ID required?
I also have Avis Preferred so I usually have minimal paperwork, but I've never rented a car at LAX before.
I also used the MUAA133 coupon code for 5K bonus DL SkyMiles mentioned earlier.
Thank you, thank you for posting this info on here! This rental is for personal use, and I was seeing at least double the prices even at the cheaper rental companies.
After about a week of unsuccessful searches for one-way SF Bay Area to Long Beach rentals without a drop fee, I found success using A972200. No drop fee whatsoever using this code. YMMV.

Anyone use A113400 in Florida lately? I have used it before. First time I had to go to the counter and do some talking, the last time they had my car on the board. Just wonder if they are getting stricter with IDs based on some other posts.

D005297 amateur sports assistance program
I have used this code more times than I can remember in the past year. I have even used it at home. I have never been asked for any ID. A home counter rep once remarked my "convention code" was the absolute lowest rate anyone can get. Don't know if that is true. I have compared it on line with some codes that are gov't related (which means I would not risk booking with it) and I have rarely found anything better. The Farmers code recently was a couple of bucks less but I ended up not getting FF miles. Avis replied that it doesn't qualify for FF earning. I love that the acronym for this code is ASAP

.
On an upcoming sfo rental where other AWDs were pricing out at 237 a.i. for a 3 day weekend , the asap came back with 97 a.i..
I noticed that the ASAP rate only works up to a premium vehicle and then prices beyond that sky rocket upwards.
Being Avis Pres, I wonder what sort of upgrade Ill get with this rate.
Any recent renterst who can confirm what the underage policy is with ASAP?
