Remember, there is no "speed" in such transfers, there's only a "frequency". And sometimes a "beat" gets missed in the frequency. If the frequency is once a month, and they "miss a beat", then it takes two months!
At any rate, when the frequency is a month, it can take less for some people, dpeending on what time of month they rent, and longer for other people who rent at a different time of the month.
Avis to AA seemed to be weekly (but they missed a big beat for the 8/10-8/11 weekend which took many many many weeks to post!), while Avis to Carlson seemed (before that) to be monthly.

Quite impressed with Avis.
I sent an email in to inquire about some missing AAdvantage miles from the last promotion, and today received a hand-signed letter from their Oklahoma office notifying me that they had deposited the missing points into my account.
Is the letter on account of my CHM status? Was a nice personal touch.
