Could have been. The outside was not my taste, the inside, however, was absolutely tacky and a mess to use. The touch sensitive panel + bumpy roads = many unintended changes of the radio while reaching for temp etc.
OGG had two or three of them when I arrived. Also a number of X5 and 5 Series.
Presidents Circle is actually quite good too and much easier to obtain.

If there are certain car types you wish not to have they will note it in your profile. The Chairman's desk I find to be rather helpful. And if you show up and prefer not to have a particular car type than ask with a smile. I drive a lot of Genesis because my profile requests not to have certain "common" upgrades. And for me I much prefer a Genesis over a Towncar, XTS/ATS, or the MK-whatever it is.

Pretty sure that Avis won't status match into President's Club, but I could be wrong.
I know that some people call the Chairman number and ask that an upgrade request, for a specific vehicle, be put into the rental notes. I used to do that. I even had one rep read me the current inventory of the location because I was asking what they had on the lot.
Currently, I just shoot off an email to the chairman desk with my rental confirmation number and let them know that I would prefer X car. I always put a line in there that says I know that upgrades are based on availability.
My request is usually for options on a car, not a specific car. For example, I always want to have manufacture installed GPS and working XM because when I am on the road I tend to drive 800-1,200 miles in a week.
I have a pretty good success rate of getting BMWs when I ask for them, but I think it really just depends on the location that you are renting from.
