WARNING - expensive call centre number

I recently called Avis on 08445810163. They charge 0.20 pence per minute and I was kept waiting for some time, so please be aware of this when calling them.

The cost of these 084... numbers varies on who you are calling but the organization you are calling will get between 0 and 7p of the charge. The rest of it goes to your phone company. You can call Avis for free from a BT landline on 0808 2840014 or use 01753 849004 if you have a package with calltime on your mobile.

Even if you were on hold for an hour, that's only 12 pence, not exactly backbreaking.

Aha, a bit more.

The reason for the smiley face was a reference to Verizon Math.

Always remember Saynoto0870.com - it is really useful for Avis and many other companies in the UK
