LAX Avis Mustang / Camaro Convertible

I have booked a convertible (e.g. Mustang) with AVIS in LAX in 2 weeks time.

What are the chances of getting a GT 5 litre 2015 Mustang convetible? Are they still running the older shape Mustangs or are the fleet all 2015 Mustangs now?

Or a chances of a SS Camaro convertible?

I haven't seen a 2014 Mustang in over a month, so I say you will most likely receive a 2015 Mustang or a Camaro.

The SS Camaro & GT Mustang are much less likely. I've seen several GT Mustangs, but only 1 GT Convertible (LAS a few months ago). I'd say you've got a better chance at finding an SS Camaro. Good luck!

Thanks for that! Much appreciated.

Out of interest, which convertible would you pick - '15 Mustang or Camaro?

Probably an age old American dilemma

If you've got big suitcases then don't get the Camaro, it has a tiny little hole as the boot/trunk.

Aside from that, I prefer the looks of the Camaro I think, but that's all down to personal preference! ^

The most common is the Mustang Convertible with the 3.7L V6. If you can score a Camaro SS, I'd go for that. But it seems that there are quite a few more Camaro RS's showing up, which again, are a V6. I can't ever recall seeing a Mustang GT convertible.

I don't mind the V6 as much as getting a 2014 I want a 2015 mustang any idea on how many 2015 mustangs LAX AVIS has on hand and how many would be left at 3 pm on a Saturday

As of 2 weeks ago, I didn't see any 2014 Mustangs on the lot at LAX (or ATL for that matter).
