PS - before you ask what KVS is, here is the link

Thanks, I use KVS for about 3 years….. But it doesn’t matter for me, what a specific airline uses to book an Award in First, as long it is First.
But thanks anyway.

It does matter to you when reading posts here, so to make life easier for yourself, do brush up on what booking class different airlines use for Award redemption in first class!!

O.K. your right, it does matter to understand the posts here, to know what you’re talking about, but to book an Award in LM, it doesn’t matter. If I have found a Seat in F on LM, and I can book it, it does not really matter, what kind of booking class the specific airline uses as the booking class.
Or did I miss something?

I propose that anyone who resurrects this thread (when there is obviously no devaluation), should be slapped on the wrist and pay a 10k miles stress penalty

Yes, it does.
i.e. BA T class is revenue premium economy
CX T class is AWARD premium economy (except for opups where they sometimes put me in this class, though I have also been rebooked in W.)
These are both in oneworld.

I would. 25K eco ticket as a USA domestic flight vs. $1000 or more as a last minute Y ticket? No-brainer.

Whether or not there is space (or if there is on DL, space at low) is another problem.
Plus no UG on award flights...

It seems like the Middle East to S. Africa region is now cheaper than Middle East to Middle East.
Since this makes no logical sense, it is possibly a typo?

As highlighted on pandaperth's chart in the wiki of this thread. Typo or not - we'll see in a couple of weeks.

Hoping it's not, was considering buying miles today in anticipation of the proper pricing being 35k.
