Points changes for Australia, NZ and Oceania regions
Just received an email advising the following:-
Starting May 15th, 2017, the amount of miles required for redemption in Economic, Business and First cabin, from Australia, New Zealand and Oceania, in some Star Alliance flights, will have some changes. Some will include reductions and others will present increments as illustrated in the following table:
Most things go up in points, thus devaluation

One month's notice is better than nothing, but not very long.
Other airlines give longer notice of devaluations.
They could argue that some routes will become cheaper, but on average it is a devaluation.

I'm wondering whether the devaluation is only for flights FROM Australia/NZ, or also for flights TO Australia/NZ, because the fine print on Lifemiles' website says "The changes in redemption mileage are unidirectional (from the region others)".
