Lifemiles show less availabilty for EVA Airways?

I am searching for TPE-SEA flight (BR26) on EVA airways in mid-Jan next year. I don't see any availability on lifemiles while it show plenty on United or AeroPlan websites. Btw, it's economy class.

For example, any date between Jan 13 and 19, you can find BR 25 (TPE-SEA) available on united.com, but none on lifemiles.com.

As far as I recall from past searches, BR starts popping up about 2 months out and gets better closer in within 2-3 weeks before travel. Great for spontaneous trips, not so good for longer term planning.

After patiently waiting for a couple of weeks, I thought my date is within two months and Lifemiles should show me some availability. However there is still no luck.

Interesting though, Lifemiles is showing the availability on Jan 31 and many dates in Feb, which is consistent with what Unite MileagePlus website. It is just the period Jan 14 -19 that looks different. I even checked on ANA website and it agrees with Lifemiles, which makes me suspicious that UA is showing phantom availability.

Select EVA Airways in the dropbox for Airlines in Avianca.

Then search again.

yeah, I did that last month. UA failed to issue the ticket. It mentioned "waitlist" after I placed the order... I called their customer service and was told it's a bug...
