Uses for orphaned Avianca Amigo (O6) points

Hi All-

I have 8500 Avianca Brasil Amigo points. Because my status match is expiring (Diamond until January 2017), I don't expect to accrue additional points with Avianca (although I could if it got me to a new threshold).

Flight partners seem to restrict me to a one-way in Hawaii... what airline would this be?

Other than flights, is there a use for these points, or any transfer opportunities?

Cheers

I can't remember if O6 will be soft landing. If yes, then why not just keep it?

I've been crediting all my *A flights with them.

If it is a soft landing, then I probably will keep crediting. It was a status match though, so it seems a bit unlikely. Any experiences welcome.

Surely you just choose any redemption offer that's available at the time and buy the additional points. Beyond a certain point you're buying them at the cheapest 1.5 cents rate

Can you point me to where you can buy Amigo points? I couldn't find anything.

Can anyone clarify if Amigo soft lands? My Gold status expired on March 30th but the website still shows me as a Gold (valid till March 30th).

It has been confirmed in the general amigo thread. We are all having this problem that the original status still shows on the website.

Thanks! I landed here first so hadn't seen the other thread... Guess we'll find out sooner or later.

You can get a domestic one way within Brazil but I don't think it will get you any further...

I'm of the same understanding. I tried finding a way as I wanted to top up so I can book something.
