urgent question about expirering LM
lucky I loged into LM today, and found that some family accounts milage will expire APR 16 !!!
So my question, what is the cheapest way to extend the vality ?
transfer from one account into another ? will both accounts extend ?
buying 1k miles ?
or do i have to book a ticket and after cancel it ?
donating miles ? if yes which is minimum ?

and simply tryed.Transfered 1k for 15 $ from one account into another and both accounts now extended vality until may 2018 ^
That seems to be the cheapest way.

Sorry for bringing an old thread back to life. My lifemiles are expiring end of this month and trying to figure out an easy way to extend them? The three options I am seeing are
1. Transfer miles (1k) from the expiring account to another. - For this to work I have to open another account in my wife's name and then transfer. Would this work
2. Donate 500 miles to charity
3. Open the 60k credit card for $149
Which one's do you guys suggest? Please let me know

2. Donate 500 miles to charity..
1 - Account needs to be active for a while, 21 days i think.
3. Cant really guarantee for it to complete and miles to post within the month
