I called again Asiana Club and they retracted what they said earlier..its the US lounge that you cant use, but the one in Incheon I can use. Actually I would be diamond already when I go back on my next trip so I want to dispose of the 2 coupons because it would be useless for me to use it when I become diamond already when I reach my final destination...so its really perfect for me to use it in LAX and ICN. I will be flying LAS(UA)-LAX(OZ)-ICN(OZ)-MNL. I think I have to bring really a hardcopy of their new rules, if they dont permit me to access the lounge in Incheon and LAX...In LAX, I know they have a lounge but strange, they wont allow me to use it there, considering that I would be checking in at LAX for my flight to Manila.

I wasn't flying OZ that day and being I already had access to that lounge based on my C boarding pass I put my coupon away and went into the C lounge. So the OZ lounge dragons definitely thought it was usable at the C lounge at ICN.
The only thing I can think of as to why OZ is telling you that you can't use the coupon in ICN is because I assume you're just in transit at ICN and maybe for some strange reason they have to process your lounge access at the check-in counter and not at the lounge (being you don't have the coupon but rather it's stored in your card). If that's the case and if you are able to exit through immigration at ICN, just do that and then go to the check-in counter and explain that you'd like to use the lounge. There's also an Asiana Club counter landside at ICN which might be of some help in your case. If you can't exit immigration, then I'd check with the OZ transfer counter which is located on the 4th floor, just as you go up the escalators nearby the OZ lounges.
I qualified for Gold several months ago soon after the new rules went into effect and at that time they gave me the physical coupons. I guess they must have changed it since then and now just store them electronically on your card.
The coupons are only good for OZ business class lounges, ie. lounges owned and operated by OZ. Not OZ contract lounges or any *G lounge operated by another carrier. Correct me if I'm wrong but the lounge at LAX is not owned by OZ, so that's why you're not entitled to use it with your lounge coupon.
Basically they're giving you something that costs them nothing. It doesn't cost them anything to let you into their ICN lounge but it does cost them to let you into a lounge they do not own.
I wonder does anyone have a list of OZ owned and operated lounges, either C and/or F lounges?
Edited to add:
Just looked at the OZ site and found their list of lounges they use. The only ones that appear to be OZ owned are in Korea and as follows:
C/F international lounges at ICN
Asiana domestic at GMP, PUS, CJU, KWJ, and TAE (these may double as international lounges being I believe some and maybe all are located landside).
Programs: QF WP (LT Gold), LH SEN, OZ Diamond, CO Nothing, HH Gold, SPG Platinum, Avis PC

Correct, OZ doesn't operate any lounges outside Korea AFAIK. But the vouchers still help when you are in transit.
So did they phase out the lounge coupons in favour of electronically storing them on the membership card?
Just got Asiana to re-send me my Gold card that I never received and she stated that there is no physical 5000 mile discount coupon or lounge coupons.

Yes, all the coupons are stored electronically now. A few months ago when I got my Diamond Plus card I also did not get the physical coupons but the girl at the Asiana Club counter at ICN told me not to worry that they're stored in the computer and they can call them up whenever I want to redeem one of the coupons.
My understanding is that all the coupons are stored electronically and there is no need for the physical coupons. They may or may not send you the physical coupons. I got physical coupons I think for both Gold and Diamond but not Diamond Plus. Maybe they didn't want to bother printing the ones for Diamond Plus being there's not that many reaching that level. I've not yet tried to use any of my coupons so can't relay any actual experience in redeeming them electronically.
