Some of the newer delivered one have PTV and AVOD throughout the entire plane.

A321s & B737s to get AVOD

I could have sworn I was in one about a year ago where the seats were covered in a maroon fabric, but maybe I am mistaken.

I've been on six of them (A320/321) in the past few months and they all had the same seats. One of the A321s had an EmPower port (may have had a pop-up video screen--I don't know since I didn't use it and didn't pay attention), but the seats still looked the same.

Same experience as you, and I've flown them at least a dozen times this year already, and maybe a hundred times over the past few years. There have never been any maroon fabric seats that I'm aware of. All the seats, whether new style A320/321 or old style basically look almost the same.

Question Will be some C food served in this red-eye China-Korea flight?

OZ 324 Chengdu to Seoul, 12:10 AM to 4:50 AM. C class.

Will be some warm food to be served for this 3 hour but red-eye flight?

I notice it will be operated by A320. So, does it means the cramped C seat and no in-flight entertainment?

Thanks!

You're right about no IFE, but it honestly isn't all that "cramped" (i.e. far better than what you see on narrow body planes in the US/Europe/China). That having been said, that schedule is simply brutal, though the nonstop is far superior to connecting in PEK or PVG/SHA.

Glad I found this thread as I am booking award flights from Honolulu to Phnom Penh ; and i can get OZ to ICN on am A330 in business then ICN to PNH on an A321 in business...

i keep hearing mixed thoughts on service, seat for a 5.5 hour flight ex ICN-PNH.

:-)

The service is pretty nice (e.g. better than CX, JL, NH in biz), and I think you will be able to endure the seats. Furthermore, no matter how you play it, your flight into PNH is going to be on a narrow body plane. Sure you could get closer to PNH on a wide body, but this would entail a double connection from HNL.

Thanks for the advice Moondog...:-)

I am sure the business seat will be acceptable for the 5.5 hour flight. Some people may disagree, but I am just blessed to be able to be flying business. It will beat Y for sure..lol.

And, I gather that the meal service, wine choices will still be of good caliber even though the flight is on an A321? (decent size plane, side note;I have flown 1st in UA's A320s and was comfortable).

Patrick ;--)
