FRA - ICN in december, no more A380?

They will replace A380 with 777-200 from December 2017? Is it seasonal or permanent?

Should be seasonal — the A380 goes on ICN-SYD in December/January and should be back on FRA by February or so.

A380 on the FRA-ICN route was never meant to be permanent.
The aircraft type will rotate depending on the season.

Well the good news is it seems like FRA is getting the A380 all through the winter now... looks like the frame for ICN-SYD is coming from ICN-JFK instead (which I'm not happy about personally, but oh well).
