OZ 203 LAX-ICN late night flight
Hi,
I need to fly from LAX to ICN, and I'm thinking of taking OZ 203 (LAX-ICN) in F for the new F suites on the 777.
Since this flight departs late night (12:20 am), I was wondering if the service provided will be reduced (e.g. lighter food options) compared to OZ 201, which his the day time flight out of LAX.
Does anyone have experience with OZ 203?

Maybe not??? IME this flight is usually a 777 with business and economy only, no F. While checking OZ schedules, I do see a 747 with F seats, just don't know if they provide F service or not.

I will be on this flight on 7/15 in F and will report back. Yes, there is F service as it's the rotation that used to be ICN-JFK 777 with F suites and with the A380 service now to JFK the aircraft will now be on ICN-LAX.

I'm not sure what seats Thai uses in J, but Asiana's J seats in the 747s are not the same J seats they use on most of their 777s and A380. The 747 J seats are the older style, where the seats do recline to practically flat but will be at an angle compared to the floor. It will not be parallel to the floor. The nice thing is that on the 747 combi, J is only upstairs. I find the upstairs to feel much more exclusive and quieter.
If Thai J seats were the latest generation, which gives aisle access to everyone, then I might go with that. But for Asiana you have the upstair's environment, side storage bins (huge on the 747s), and excellent service. I might go with the Queen of the Skies 747.

Depends on whether TG is currently using the 773ER on that route. That's a true modern lie-flat seat, much better than OZ's 744. But TG has been switching aircraft on LAX-ICN, so not sure what it will be next week. You might ask on the TG forum.

I just flew this route in F. It's a full dinner service served at the time that you would like, so you can eat upon departure or sleep first and have your dinner served later on in the flight. A full breakfast is served prior to landing.
