KL/malaysia Dental and Medical ? during Ramadan ?

I am heading to KL , Oct 10 th . for a week . It is right in the middle of Ramadan , is it worth trying to get Dental work and Medical checkups then ?

I have been advised to go to Pantai Medical Center or Gleneagles Medical Center in KL, does anyone have any better recommendations or know anything about these places ?

I will also be in Singapore, but assume I will save $$ in Malaysia . Am I taking a risk in KL , especially during Ramadan ? ( not having Heart Surgery ) but have a few possible medical issues , and do need some dental work .

Dentists and hospitals in KL should operate as per usual during Ramadan, i.e normal operating hours for outpatient treatment. Things don't normally shut down for half the day as they do in the Middle East. I don't expect that you will have any problems getting dental work or medical checkups done. If you're close to the City centre then Gleneagles may be more convenient location-wise. It is also highly regarded (though I have only used their services once, preferring Ampang Puteri two miles down the road).

Only 60% or so of Malaysia is Muslim i.e. it's pretty multi-cultural. So it's business-as-usual during Ramadan.
