Zhuhai airport to ferry

I want to go from Zhuhai airport to the ferry terminal going to Hong Kong.
The shuttle bus from the Airport is going to Gongbei Border if I remember well.
How would I get to the ferry terminal from there?
Anyone familiar with Zhuhai? Thanks.

I also can't find a direct bus from ZUH to the Jiuzhou Port, and only to Gongbei. You can take a taxi from Gongbei - it's a short ride (about 6km). Or I am sure there's some bus that gets there from Gongbei.

Or you can go through Macau. The cost of the Zhuhai-Hong Kong ferry is about the same as Macau-Hong Kong, but the latter is a lot more frequent. There's a bus from the Macau side of the border to the ferry terminal (Route 3A - very cheap, very fast, very frequent), or a taxi. About 3km.

[If you're a cheapo, and wants to save the 2.5MOP (US$0.30) bus ride, you can even take one of the free hotel casino shuttle from the Chinese border to the casino, and then another from the casino to the ferry pier. ]

Thanks a lot for the answer. I want to avoid the one hour hustle at the border and save my passport 2 chops. (By the way, if things have not changed, the ferry from macau is about 30 HK$ cheaper, so that this covers more than the taxi ride).

So I will take a taxi or a bus form Gongbei. Furthermore now things have changed and I need to take the ferry to Shekou instead.

I found the official site of the Jiuzhou port. It's at www.jzportpt.com. Chinese only, I think. If you're going to Shekou, then definitely take the ferry from Jiuzhou. Departure every half an hour. 80RMB, which is about half the cost of going to Hong Kong.

I also found a site with bus routes: www.okzhuhai.com. #4 bus goes from Gongbei to the port. Should be very frequent - the site says every 8 minutes.

Ops, part of the site is in GB Code, not unicode. Doesn't display on my computer. Need to use a chinese set system for this.

Just grab a taxi from the Gong Bei area over. Watch out for the non marked taxis as they will charge you an arm and a leg. If you can't find a marked taxi, walk over towards the Lotus Street area where they will be stacked up waiting for fares.

Sure, will do. thanks. Actually I've been in HK/China for over 15 years, even in Zhuhai many times, just didn't know the location/distance of the ferry pier, since I normally come over from Macau. I even remember the time when I had to discuss with the taxi drivers whether they accept RMB or I had to pay in FEC
(Foreign exchange certificcates). Good that those days are over.
