SE Asia in August - weather/itinerary questions
I have three weeks blocked off for a trip to SE Asia in August.
Part of the trip will be in Bali, so no worries about weather there.
I'm trying to figure out the rest of the trip though. I'd really like to go to Ho Chi Minh City and Laos or Cambodia, but don't know if it I'd see more rain than anything. Would it be a mistake to go to any of these places in August?
Back up thoughts are Chaing Mai, which I've read gets rain, but not enough to stop most people from trekking, and Phuket, which I've been to around that time of year and the rain wasn't much of a problem.
What would you suggest?
