Bus Options To/From HKG and Shenzhen

Is there are bus that goes from HKG to Shenzhen? If so:

1) How often does it run and what is the latest departure from HKG? My flight lands at 8:10pm.

2) How long and how much?

3) Does it drop you off at the border immigration station or go through the border in Shenzhen?

4) Does it go to any hotels?

5) What is the earliest departure from Shenzhen? My flight departs at 10:15am

6) Is there an alternate means to get from HKG to/from Shenzhen that you would suggest?

7) Is there a web site with more info?

Thanks to all!

The HK airport site lists several bus companies offering Shenzhen service.

Presumably, you already know that you can alternatively take the combination of Airport Express -> MTR (subway) to Kowloon Tong -> KCR train to Lo Wu border crossing. The latter is obviously not very convenient if you have luggage or after a long plane trip.

If you have no need/desire to enter HK then it is possible to take a ferry from a pier at HK airport direct to China without having to go through HK immigration. Details here:
http://www.hongkongairport.com/eng/aguide/skypier.html
but unfortunately your flight arrives too late for any of the sailings.

Thanks christep. Interesting that you don't have to go through immigration at HKIA to take the ferry. But, what if you have checked baggage? Do you then go through immigration, get teh baggage and then catch the ferry on the other side?

I may re-arrange my arrival and departure times as even with the bus it's going to be dicey based on my original times.

No. You give your baggage tag to the representative of the ferry company. They go and get your baggage and bring it through to the transit area (airside) for you to identify then load on the ferry. See here:

you may go to China Travel Service or GDHK boots, located on area B (towards the airport hotel). They both offer regular services to Shenzhen and/or mainland, mostly to Huanggang station, but one time I saw an indication for downtown Shenzhen (sorry couldn't be more precise).

Having tried all options I will give my 2 cents.....
Take the bus A42 (check the number, but I think it is right) from the Airport bus station to Sheung Shui KCR. There you get of the bus at the KCR station and get on the KCR to Lo Wu and walk across the border.
The bus A42 doesnt stop, so it is quite a fast service. You end up at Lo Wu in Shenzhen and that is where most people want to go....

although Fanling is the final stop of A43, you can get off at Shang Shui and transfer to the KCR train.
