KUL connection time

Hi There,

I have a flight going to Kaula Lumpur connecting on Malaysia Air to Dragon Air with a 1 and 25 minute layover. Is this enough time? I am not familiar with this airport. TYIA

Your question can not be answered, unless you post with what airline you will arrive at KUL...

Correct. The flight is arriving on Malaysia Airlines from Siem Reap, connecting with Dragonair. The Dragonair flight will then be departing for Hong Kong. The layover is 1 hour 25 minutes. Is this enough time for the connection. In the eyes of the airline, it is a "legal" connection.

Yes if you are on one ticket and there are no delays.

If you are on two different tickets with luggage and no ongoing boarding pass - then no - you do not have enough time.

It's all on one record locator with just a change of planes.

Since it is on one ticket, its doable. Even if delays, they should put you on the next available flight (?). To me, its considerably a short connection flight and I'll opt for a little longer connecting time to ensure that everything goes as planned (to best of it anyways).

MH has been pretty bad the past month with on time arrivals/departures, mostly in part due to bad weather for flights into/out of KLIA.

Beware.

OP did not say this. He/She mentioned "one record locator". 2 tickets can sometimes be packed into 1 PNR.

I don't see why not. But as per the information above, I assume BA does not do this.

Are both your flights on the same terminal or not? If one of arrival/departure is at KLIA2, please not that you need tot outside of the terminal, take train to another terminal and re-check thru security. You should budget 40 min for this.

Dragon Air does not operate out of KLIA2.

And there is no way a passenger can do KLIA 1 to KLIA 2 in 40 minutes. With or without bags.

You need a safety net of 1 hour 30 minutes minimum.
