Welcome to FT, Sandeep!
You'll probably find a lot of useful information in this existing thread in the Destinations>Asia>Other Asia section of FlyerTalk:
http://www.flyertalk.com/forum/asia/...yover-kul.html
If you still have questions after reading it, and perhaps this other thread as well, it might be a good idea to add to that thread or to post a new question in that forum. It tends to have a higher concentration of people who know about Kuala Lumpur than this general information thread does.
(Also, if you search for ideas either on FT or on the Web in general, it's Kuala (not Kaula) Lumpur, two words. Computers can be incredibly picky about details.)

Some more suggestions:
1) Depends on your timing and day of the transit, you can join the FREE guided tour courtesy of KL Tourism Bureau:

2) Check out the Tun Abdul Razak Heritage Park where there are more than 10 attractions located close to each other within this park:
3) Check out the Malaysia Tourism Centre (Matic) where you can watch the FREE cultural performance that is held at 3pm, Mon-Sat. You also can try the Batik painting, shop some local crafts and souvenirs:
http://www.matic.gov.my/en/
4) Watch MUD: Kuala Lumpur, a musical theatre about the history of Kuala Lumpur city. It is performed twice daily at 3pm & 8:30pm in the historical City Theatre-Panggung Bandaraya building in Merdeka Square. (It is a bit similar to the famous London Dungeon):

5) If you would like to see/do many things within a day, then you should go to KL Tower where you can experience modernity, tradition and nature all at the same time. The latest attraction of the KL Tower is the "Skybox", a fully glass deck located at the most top of the tower. There are also a mini zoo, aquarium, HD Motion Theatre and forest reserve equipped with a long canopy walk located there. Every day, there will be a cultural performance performed at the lobby of the tower:

6) Visit to Kuala Lumpur Craft Complex where you can experience batik & ceramic paintings or shop high quality Malaysian-made crafts and textiles:
http://www.kraftangan.gov.my/en/craf...craft-complex/
7) Visit to Rumah Penghulu Abu Seman, a traditional Malay house which located in the middle of the city that already over 100 years old:

8) Visit to Kampong Bharu (Kampung Baru), 1 of the last surviving traditional village in KL where you can find many beautiful ancient houses and a lot of stalls/restaurants to eat at a very cheap price.
