Asian beach with views of steep mountains nearby?

Asian beach with views of steep mountains nearby?
Can anyone recommend a beach in (preferrably SE) Asia that, when looking out from the beach into the water, one can see huge mountains with a very sharp slope?
Alternately, the same view in the opposite direction...looking ashore from the water...could be ok.

How about Halong Bay in Vietnam, I think it is good choice, I came there and very beautiful with islands on sea.

I'm having trouble thinking of anywhere better than the Datai on Langkawi. Not cheap, but definitely gorgeous.

Well this is not on a mountain per say, but qualifies on some level

Nha Trang Vietnam has beautiful beaches and mountains at either end of them. Also islands of in the distance with large mountains on them.

I wouldn't call any of those above mountains. More like hills to me. For me real mountains near the beach is east coast of Taiwan, but not many spots that are safe from currents and steep dropoffs. Basically much better mountains much worse beach/ocean.

As in point hotels, none when I was last there about 7 years ago. HuaLien at the entrance to Taroko National Park and TaiTung are the two towns I'd look for a place to stay. I stayed in a homestay/B&B place in Hualien.

Hong Kong has beaches with mountain views. Sai Kung Beach is a good example:
