Thai Airways Royal Orchid Plus - Grabbing a seat in F on a 2 class Intl flight

Hi All - I'm on a BKK-SIN flight this weekend & noticed I have the A340/600 scheduled. I'm in C & was just wondering if the F cabin will be used or not & therefore whether I could grab an F seat?
I do the BKK-CNX run every month & when booked in C, I can often grab an F seat when they are using the 747's on this route. I'm also ROP *G.
Cheers all.

When the load in C is very light they probably close the F section (for crew rest). Otherwise a smile at check-in should do the trick, like on the domestic sectors.

Hi TedWllie, when you are checking in, is the time to ask. Flash the ROP G and request a Fseat. It works on the 747's domestically, should be a breeze internationally, regards bkkrop

Because I am relatively new to this forum I don't dare to start a new thread. What I really would like to discuss more briefly is that, let me name it, "Hit or Miss" – Phenomenon at TG which was mentioned in several other threads.
TG is international outside but inside very Thai and that is the key to a "Hit-experience".
Anybody interested?

Hi Fan2502, I enjoy reading your posts, keep it up, and go on, start a thread. Recent flights I have found the captains' are very chatty, Fsds' are extra attentive regards bkkrop

Thanks for all the advice. Will ensure everything is ironed, brushed & polished for maximum success at check in. Hope there won't be any last minute equipment changes!?
Cheers all.

^ Received seat 1A on TG 744 BKK-HKT this week. Check in agent merely said he was putting me in the first class section for the flight. No arguments from me!

Just a quick update. TG403 BKK-SIN, the load in C was very light approx. 30-40% so the F section was completely closed.
Can also report that the C lounge concourse D, had no alcohol available at around 0700 (as reported in another thread) although I'm pretty certain there was still beer in the fridge.
Cheers

A switch from A340-500 only C/U/Y to A340-600 F/C/Y on an upcoming weekend OSL-BKK, I have the same question.
Already saw, the U ( prem eco pax ) are now in the 2. C cabin behind, and the C pax in the front C cabin, while the 8 F seats show as not available for other reason.

Doing OSL-BKK on Saturday and they just changed the AC to A340-600. What happened on your flights, are they using F as C. In amadeus the 8 F seats show up under C chart but they look occupied. I think the flight is packed
