Turkish seems to distinguish on-line check in from on-line boarding pass issuance, and I'm confused.
I'll be flying AA from ORD to LHR at the end of October, connecting to TK LHR to IST. These are two separate tickets, as the LHR to IST fare is a "noncombinable" one (but vastly cheaper than booking all on one ticket).
I can easily do the OLCI from home before leaving for ORD; however, LHR is one of the stations where they do not issue on-line boarding passes. Is there any real advantage in doing OLCI in this case?
