Go to booking management on iberia.com and under add/modify passenger information you'll find seat selection.

Does anyone know if seat 1H exists on the Iberia A 340 (JFK - MAD)? It shows on the Iberia seating chart on their web site, but Seat Guru says there is no Row 1 in the middle, and the front seat is 2H.

Thanks!

Thanks, KVS. Not sure why the Iberia site let me book 1H! You Iberia Plus members out there, what do you think of 2H or 2D on the A 340?

Thanks KVS. Looks like I might be next to the FAM! Oh, do they have FAMs on foreign carriers? Or is that confidential to keep the tewowwists guessing? :D

Flying 340 (340-300 for Ib) choose any of row 6 ,mini business cabin with 2 rows only, plenty of legroom and full flat seats (horizontal, not angled).

2D 2H is a very good seat for 340-600 (346), the same array than any of the related row 6 in 340 (340-300).

I use to select 6D-H 340 and 2D-H 346

Thanks, Julius -- Where on the Iberia site do you see the model of A 340 that Iberia is using on the day? If you do a dummy booking and click through to the choose your seat option, it just says A 340. Is there another source?

IB's site doesn't list aircraft in their flight schedules, and even though I bought my tix via their site (JFK-MAD-JFK 15-Oct/19-Oct), I wasn't allowed to select seat. I called for assignments, and they said it was a -300 in both directions, which seems to be the case for their fall flights. I sense that they assign the variant pretty close in to flight time for flexibility. I check flightaware.com occasionally, and they seem to interchange the -300 and -600 frequently. It was usually the -600 for both flights during the summer and last month.
