I haven't seen this posted elsewhere. This is the best offer I have ever seen for this card. 20k after first purchase and 10k more after $750 in charges.

I found this at ba.com. There is also an offer for $50 off TATL BA flights paid for with a BA Chase Visa.

From the site:
"Save $50* on British Airways fares with your British Airways Visa SignatureŽ card

Flying with your family is now even more affordable. For example, a family of four can save $200 on ticket purchases. You'll also earn 2 BA Miles for every $1 you spend on British Airways tickets**. The more tickets you purchase, the more your savings and earnings multiply.

This offer is available to British Airways Visa cardholders for bookings made online from this page only through midnight EDT December 31, 2009 for travel through December 31, 2010."

Thanks for posting!
Sounds like a good offer. Just canceled my Chase/BA credit card a week ago to avoid the $75 fee. Would I get the 30,000 sign-up bonus again?

At this close of a date to your closing of the account they might just reactivate the account. Don't apply yet. Wait at least a couple months (I'd wait a year), but you still might not get the sign-up bonus. Some do, some don't.

Chase won't let you churn it, bonus again even within a year i doubt you'll be able to get...

I closed my Chase-BA account over 3 years ago. What are the chances for the bonus?

Don't see anything in the offer about waiving $75 annual fee for first year.

Personally, I have not found BA miles to be that great and prefer to stick with AA. But, if they waive the $75 ... :D

If this helps you...
I closed my BA chase a year ago.
Reapplied to keep my miles active, got the 20k bonus
Did not know about 30k bonus, well...

I have always followed a policy of one year on one year off for all my cards until recently and almost never have I been turned down until this year.

I go BA / UA alternate years with Chase
Visa and MC alternate years with Citi; now it is VISA/MC/Amex every 6 months. Jan Visa on, July MC On, next Jan Amex on, close Visa by Feb to avoid fees, reapply in July for Visa and so on.
BofA used to give me US miles alternating with Alaska.

Simple rule
close account in 1 year immediately after getting the annual fee.
It always get refunded if closed within 30 days of being charged.

This is wise strategy. Also, to a previous poster, no they don't waive the annual fee the first year.
