SAS EuroBonus - Does wideroe.no block TG Discounted C fares

For the last 4-5 years I have been booking exclusively on www.wideroe.no without even checking the competition regardless of the airline I am flying(LH,KL,AF,SU,FI,AZ,CO,US,S7,JK) You name it

(SAS Subsidiary booking engine issuing tickets on theur own ticket stock 701)

I started doing this after repeatedly always finding the best fares on the WF booking engine. So naturally I thought I had found the best place for tickets

However, now I just realised it might not have been a very good idea:confused:

When trying to book trips to Asia in business, It looks like they are not showing any discounted fares on TG, only full fare C tickets. For instance it means that I can book TG J & D tickets OSL-BKK R/T on most other web engines including TG for about 19 000NOK while at wideroe the only thing I get is 34 000 for a full C ticket. Same days, same flights. Same goes for a lot of other Asian destinations.

Could SK/WF be blocking good TG fares to protect their Asian flights?

Sk have been dumping their BKK Z fares and I have seen them as low as 13 000NOK R/T so there must be something going on

I have never experienced this with any other airlines, US and Co included.

Anyone have any idea about this?

Sometimes discounted fares are restricted to certain sales outlets. Its likely TG didn't put the discounted fare out there for WF's office to sell.

TG doesn't let wideroe sell anything that full fare ticket (C and Y) on their OSL-BKK. Neither can other online booking engines, as TG only sells discounted tickets through travel agencies

A bit on the sideline, but just discovered that BA is also restricting sales of their economy-tickets through Widerĝe (and I guess other airlines). Used to get them via Widerĝe earlier, not any more.

On ExpertFlyer I can only find TG Y and C fares published for OSL-BKK-OSL. And M, Y, C and F for BKK-OSL-BKK. Travellink.no can find a bunch of them, however.

And TG have no fares published for ARN-BKK at all...

Strange policy!

As Someone83 says, TG has decided themselves that the lowest fares are sold only on their own website + a few other travelegencies.
It seems like some airlines are nrrowing in their scope when it comes to online distribution, and wish to concentrate on their own website instead of letting the customer decide where to purchase their tickets.

Ebookers.no worked fine for me.
NOK 18xxx in feb in C. It was even 7-800 NOK cheaper than "orkide travel", who are one of those TG "loves".
Only thing about the site was that I couldn't choose Miles & More as card, and no seat booking. An e-mail solved it all, reply in 3 hours.
There was another site with discounted C, don't remember which. There you could book and pick seat for 1 person only(!). I needed 2 so jumped over to ebookers.
